Last night was a bad night if you were driving anywhere on 23rd street in KCMO. It is painfully obvious why the city has decided to go “Big Brother” on the hood. Some of the people who are roaming the area have caused things to deteriorate to a level where constant surveillance is required.
There were a couple of bad accidents on a short span of this unlucky street last night. One girl lost her life in the process. That’s a crying shame. What’s even worse is that drugs were involved and dumb criminals who tried to run from the cops.
I don’t know how many times I need to remind citizens out there, especially of the African American flavor, that running from the KCPD will usually result in you getting a bullet to the back.
I’m not going to go Nike on you. Actually, quite the opposite.
Don’t do it.
UPDATE: A 2nd person has died as a result of these accidents.
