Pit bulls should be wiped from the face of the earth

A pony was attacked today by a pit bull….AT A DAYCARE.  Apparently, children had just gotten done riding that pony when the dog jumped a fence and went in to attack the pony for allowing the kids to ride him.

Okay.  I’ve got a problem with this on a couple of levels.  First off, I don’t mind the fact that kids are riding ponies, but can someone please tell me why this city doesn’t have an ordinance that restricts the presence of pit bulls near schools and daycare facilities?  I mean, who more than children are more vulnerable to a pit bull attack?  Really, no group of us is safe.

I just don’t that it is good business to have a pit bull on the other side of a fence that surrounds a daycare facility.  That is not good karma.

Moral of the story?  Someone forgot to tell the pony that pit bulls don’t horse around.

  • You’re wrong, brother man. People who mistreat pitbulls should be wiped from the face of the earth. The pit bulls that attack are the result of violence toward the breed, either directly or indirectly.

  • if pitbulls are known for being attack dogs, why do you necessarily have to have one. there are plenty non-pitbull dogs available. if one is coming towards me how do I know if this is the one of the “loved” non-violent pitbulls.
