The immediate grades are in:
Kansas City blew away the other 31 teams in today’s 1st/2nd round of the NFL draft. I am surprised myself. After 19 years of Carl Peterson mucking up the draft, it’s nice to see the last couple of years worth of picks. Thanks to Herm Edwards, there is a bonafide plan [...]

NY cops love the crooked people in the justice system
I didn’t think I would weigh in on the situation involving the three NYC policemen who sprayed 50 bullets into the body of an unarmed man as he was just hours away from getting married. All of the obvious concerns are there. The police, and their dealings with African Americans.
I’d like to look at it strictly [...]

Dorsey coming to Kansas City!!!
This is a good pick. Glenn Dorsey was viewed as the best all around talent in the draft. He will do wonders for this football team, granted they don’t trade him away to the Saints. I feel good about this move and am a few steps closer to removing the Carls name from them. We [...]

Maybe the gas prices aren’t as bad as you think
I took the big V8 gas guzzler out for a ride today. It’s almost like taking a dog out for a walk. Before you can get back to the house, the dog is in a full pant. That’s what the guzzler was doing.

One cut down…many more to follow
Well, we’ve made our first yard cut of the year today. I was supposed to be out there changing the oil in the mower, but decided to take it out for a ride. Maybe 20-25 minutes later and I had completed around 60% of the yard. That was what I wanted to do. Now, I’ve [...]

Latest sobriety checkpoint proves one thing…
What it proves is that KC drivers still like to drink and drive. The latest DUI checkpoint was up on Independence Avenue late last night and “spilled” over into the wee hours of this morning. Cops managed to arrest 8 drivers for driving under the influence.
Again, is it too hard to bring a designated driver? [...]

Tae Bo get back
Billy Blanks, world reknown Tae Bo guru, has just kicked his wife of 33 years to the curb. Blanks is citing irreconcilable differences for the high leg kick. That’s a mighty long time. Well, if they do the do, she’ll get paid. I’m sure that he’s made a lot of money with his workout program [...]
